The new aesthetic mesotherapy |
Mesotherapy consists in a series of small local injections, allowing an effective local action without generalised side-effects.
Aesthetic mesotherapy made its breakthrough in the US at the beginning of the century with "Mesotherapy".
The main indications are mesolift and the dissolution of localised fat deposits.
|   | |
1° Mesolift
This technique is the direct injection in the epidermis and dermis of agents which hydrate, tone and revitalise the skin. This is a monthly treatment, followed by maintenance sessions every one to four months.

2° Fat Dissolution
This is the most recent and most spectacular evolution of the technique. Phosphatidylcholin, an natural soy molecule, act as a solvent for fats. It is injected together with enzymes (collagenase and hyaluronidase) to improve the penetration of the agent in the fatty tissue.

Principal indications:
|   | |
Fatty pouches beneath the eyes: two or three treatments, one month apart, reduce their volume without surgery or scars. The small injections are virtually painless and require no anaesthesia, but cause swelling and red spots which disappear after a week. The tired look of the pouches disappears and the face is younger and fresher.
| |
|   | |
All local fatty deposits: fat globules, folds, localised rolls.
| |
The treatments (in most cases 2 to 4) are spread 2 to 4 weeks apart, depending on the indications. The injections cause a local hot sensation, lasting about 15 minutes. Eccymoses (contusions) or red spots can follow but will disappear within one week.
Mesotherapy is a new approach to the treatment of small localised fat deposits, with superior results compared to existing methods.
